Circle (blackjack)
The place on the layout where the player must place his or bet
for it to be valid.
Also, "betting circle" or "square."
Circle (poker)
Pot boundary. A mythical demarcation within which bets are "legal"
and outside of which they are not.
In some clubs, an actual circle is drawn on the table. In some
clubs, a bet, or a motion to make a bet, is not
considered binding unless the chips physically enter the circle;
in others, the concept of the circle does not exist.
