Cut Card (blackjack)
A solid colored card typically a piece of plastic which is given
to a player by the dealer
for the purpose of cutting the deck(s) after a shuffle and then
is used by the dealer to mark the last hand to be dealt from
the deck by placing it near the end of the deck in the shoe.
When it comes out of the shoe, the dealer announces, "Last
hand out of this shoe."
Cut Card (general terms)
A hard plastic card used to cut the deck.
Cut Cards poker
Participate in a quick method of determining the player to first
deal when a game starts, or apportion odd chips at the end of
a private game. Each player takes a portion of the deck, similar
to the way a cutter cuts the deck, and then turns up his section
so that its bottom card is exposed; the player who cuts either
the highest or, by agreement, the lowest, card wins.
