Ignorant End (poker)
In hold 'em, the low end of a straight, or a straight that can
lose to a higher straight.
This is a risky hand to hold or draw to, because someone can
easily end up with a higher straight. If you have 5-6 in the
hole, and the flop is 7-8-9, you have flopped the ignorant end
of the straight, and will lose to anyone starting with 10-J
or 6-10. Also called dumb end, idiot end.
