Play Off the Blind poker
1) In a winner blind game, a player wanting to leave just
after winning a pot usually gets dealt one more hand so that
he can exercise the option to have last action on the hand.
That is, the winner of the previous pot is supposed to be dealt
a hand. To play this one more hand is to play off the blind.
2) Similarly, in a traveling blind game, a player wanting to
leave the table (for a break, for example) might wait until
she has taken both (or all three, in a three-blind traveling
blind game) blinds before leaving. To do this is also to play
off the blind
