Spread poker
1) Start a game. "Don't leave; we're about to spread
a 20." 2) Show down; usually followed by a or the hand.
"When I showed my pat 6-4, he spread a bicycle." 3)
A game. If you phone your local card emporium, and ask the floor
man how many games are going, he might say, "I have five
spreads." 4) The act of exposing one's cards at the showdown.
